From a jobs spreadsheet to an application that fits the business

Ember & Frost Climate Co. is a fictional heating and cooling installer. It ran its jobs on spreadsheets and email until it outgrew them. Crewloop is the application built around how it works. Open it and try it: everything you change is saved in your browser only.

Before: the spreadsheet

One spreadsheet per year, emailed around, with nobody sure which copy was current
Job status kept in a column someone had to remember to update
Technicians phoning the office to ask where they were going next
The accountant retyping finished jobs into the invoicing tool

After: Crewloop

One place for every job. Create, find and update jobs in one list or on a board that follows the company’s own stages.
Its own way of working. Stages are the company’s own — rename them, reorder them or add new ones, and the board follows.
The right view for each person. Managers see everything; each technician sees only their own jobs and cannot touch billing.
Talks to the other tools. The old spreadsheet imports in one step; invoices go to accounting and the schedule to any calendar.
